Basic information

Camping Veli Joze - Savudrija is located on western side of Istrian peninsula, close by city Savudrija. Camp is part of tourist complex where also youth centre is located; this brings many children from Slovenia to Croatia every summer. Campsite Veli Joze offer arranged camping pitches, camping places as well as bungalows and lamping tents from agenvy Sun Flower.

Campsite accepts the Avtokampi.si Camping Card, which will make the camping more affordable. The discount is listed at the price list of the campsite, and you can order camping card HERE

NEW - 96 camping pitches with electricity and water in the zone right by the sea. Some pitches also have a drain .

Campsite Veli Joze hosts many stationary guests. It is quite and calm campsite with 2 km long stoned beach and smaller pebbled bay on its left side. Pitches are arranged on a meadow and are well shaded. Pitches by the sea are well shaded, while the right and back part of the camp are more sunny.

Pitches in the camp are divided into more zones that vary by its equipment and distance to the sea. All pitches have connection to electricity, some also access to the water and drain. Part of the campsite is not divided into the pitches and perfect getaway for campers with tents. 

Wooden houses that can host up to 6 people are available to rent. Guests can as well order their daily meals in the restaurant (breakfast, lunch and/or dinner).

Camping Veli Joze has more sanitary buildings, that offer all basic facilities as well as children's toilets, chem toilet and shower for dogs. For them they have separated a part of the beach as well. Camper supply station is there as well.

Campsite complex has shop (one at the reception and one tiny in the camp) and restaurant.
From sports you can play football, basketball, volleyball, handball, mini golf and table tennis. Sport centre is organized in high season, offering rental of water scooters, kayaks, bikes, floatable playgrounds and more.

    Dober kamp za krajši pobeg iz Slovenije, ker je dokaj blizu. Ima ogromno senčnih parcel, ki so zelo prostorne. Zmotilo nas je le to, da so igrala in določeni predeli za druženje že precej dotrajani oziroma že kar nevarni (polomljene stvari, žeblji, steklovina po tleh) in da so sanitarije, kljub naporom čistilk, zaradi določenih packov precej zanemarjene. ​​

    Letos smo prvič kampirali v kampu Veli Joze. Bili zelo zadovoljni tako s parcelo, čistočo, čistim morjem in mirno okolico. Zelo prijazno osebje na recepciji, kamp kjer se počutiš kot gost na počitnicah. Niso vsiljivi, so pa ustrežljivi in prijazni. Z veseljem se bomo prihodnje leto zopet vrnili.​​

    Kamp v pravem starem pomenu z ubijajočo plažo. Vedno dobiš solidno mesto za kampiranje. Veliko možnosti za rekreacijo. Sanitarije sodobne, da pa ni večje čistoče so krivi turisti in otroci , ki se obmetavajo z WC papirjem. Dobra novica, da sadijo nova drevesa, ker stari borovci dajo malo sence. Še pridemo.     Kamp je res se iz časa juge. Wc ji so zjutraj čisti, zvečer morda, čez dan pa če imaš srečo. Pohvalno je edino, da je veliko sence, večina parcel I. a elektriko in vodo posebno tiste prve štiri vrste.
    Slaba stran kampa:
    plaža ni za majhne otroke, povsod drsi in so ostri kamni... skratka voda je bila v času najinega obiska čista ampak vstop v vodo porazen. Na obali je polno polomljenih dreves in debel od neurij.

    Drugo, trgovina, ki je še iz časa 2 sv.vojne v velikosti 15m2 do 20m2 z zelo neprijazno "vodjo" saj je v času mojega obiska vse moške ki so bili brez majice dobesedno vrgla iz trgovine vključno z mano in ne glede na poreklo.
    Ko sem prišel nazaj sem ji samo povedal in profil, da naj mi pokaže kje v pravilniku piše, da moramo biti v majicah mi je osorno odgovorila, da "ja sam šefica in na vratih tako piše" seveda, da me ni postregla nit 1kg kruhom in to ob 8h zjutraj.

    Skratka trgovina, ki stoji skoraj na plazi in ni dosti večja od wc-ja zahteva skoraj obleke kot v uglednih trgovinah.

    Mislili smo biti 15 dni vendar smo po 5 dneh zaključili... nikdar več... denar ne smrdi mar ne..
    Ali pač Hrvatom smrdi!?? ​​
