Novelties in the camping Ugljan opened last year

Island Ugljan is popular among tourists that are looking for peaceful holiday location with lots of untouched nature. Camping Ugljan is completely new campsite opened in year 2019, and this year the season starts on May 29. It is located on the western side of the island and one of the most modern ones in this part of Dalmatia. They have prepared special discount on our camping card!

Island Ugljan is reachable with ferry that is running few times per day from port Gazenica on the southern part of city Zadar. Ferry ticket is quite affordable – around 20€ for 2 persons and a car in one direction, since the drive takes only 25 minutes.

Arranged camping pitches and plots for tents

Camping Ugljan offers camping on more than 70 sandy camping pitches that have connection to water and electricity, about half of them have sewage as well. These pitches are meant mostly for guests with campers and caravans as they are pretty large – more than 100 m2.

Guests coming with tents will be directed toward separated part that is not divided into the pitches and enables electricity connection. These plots are a bit sunnier, but trees will grow larger every year.

There is one modern sanitary facilities building with children’s facilities, dish-washing space, laundry and camper supply station. Dogs are welcome at camping Ugljan, so they have arranged them showers and a beach.

Novelties in the 2020: landscaping of the camp and arrangement of a vegetable garden where guests can gather vegetables, arrangement of space or tents, additional four smaller mobile homes Studio for 2 + 2 people and five Premium mobile homes for 4 - 6 people, beach extension, mini shop in the camp.

Rental of mobile home in Camping Ugljan

Novelty on the island is option for mobile homes rental. Camping Ugljan is offering 19 mobile homes that come in three different types.

Mobile homes with two bedrooms are large enough to host 4 + 2 persons, while the ones with three bedrooms are suitable for stay of 6 adults. All mobile homes are pretty spacious with 40 m2 surface and large terrace, fully equipped kitchen, living room and two bathrooms.

A novelty are smaller mobile homes for 2 +2 people equipped with one bedroom, bathroom and living room with small kitchen.

Dogs are allowed to stay at mobile homes.

Holidays in glamping tent

Four glamping tents were set on the edge of the camping and in vicinity of the beach. They offer various sizes for 2 – 4 persons. All glamping tents have one or two bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and terrace.

Enjoying at the beach or along the swimming pool

Central beach in campig Ugljlan is arranged in sandy and pebble bay, while the rest of the coastline is stoned. Children will be happy to see the sandpits as well as smaller swimming pool that is arranged in the upper part of the camp. It is filled with sweet water that is heating in cooler seasons. Restaurant with bar is operating at the beach.

There is arranged children’s playground and some animation activities in summer seasons. Ugljan is very popular among cyclists as the island is offering many arranged cycling routes. Since island is connected through bridge to island Pasman, it is easily to prolong the cycling trip. Bicycles can be rented in the camp.
