Among this years destination was also island Pag that we visited at the end of June and we set the base in camping Strasko. We are providing fresh photographs from camp, you can find them more at the campsite's description.

Camping Strasko was surprisingly full for the end of June and guests that have been returning frequently, have said that this year camp is more full than years before. Most of the camping pitches were occupied or reserved for arrivals in the upcoming days. More space was available on the part of the campsite that is not divided into the pitches.

Our Avtokampi camping card has contributed to that as well, as in period 30.6. to 1.9. camping for 2 persons + camping pitch with electricity and dog for united price 20€. This is price valid for any camping pitch in low season, while discount in high season is 5% on price for stay of a person.

Shade, beach, animation

Camping Strasko is one of the best campsites in Croatia and we can easily select it among the top 3 campsites for families with children. There is lots of animation activities organized, playgrounds, there are for free available sport terrains, trampolines, swimming pools by the beach and 2km long pebbled and well shaded beach with sand in the middle of main bay. There is as well indoor playroom and mini zoo for the youngest campers.

Camping pitches in Strasko are one of the most shaded ones and very tidy. They all have access to electricity, water and sewage. First road by the beach is closed for traffic and so perfect for walks, jogging, rollerblading, cycling and any kind of kids games.​ The upper part of the camp that is not divided into the pitches is located about 200 - 300 meters from the beach. If you like more peaceful holidays, we advice you to select camping pitches on the left part of the camp (where it used to be naturist / FKK part of the camp).

Animation activities are held daily in the central part of the camp, there is as well restaurant, bars, playground and a bit more crowded beach as well.

It is as well possible to rent a mobile homes on various parts of the camp, however, we noticed that they are mostly set in shade and close to the sea. Last year they opened new settlement on sunnier part of the camp and added smaller swimming pools.

Glamping tents are becoming more and more popular and they can be rented as well. They are set in the upper part of the camp (left from the reception) and can host 2, 4 or 6 person. They all have air-conditioning, bathroom, kitchen and bedrooms.

Sanitary facilities are renovated, they have modernized one building last season. They provide everything needed, along with children's sanitary facilities, family bathrooms, laundry and baby-changing rooms.

Ramp for lowering boats into the sea is arranged, as well as mooring stations. Owners of the dogs will appreciate the arranged dog beach and showers.
