It's been a while since we've brought you any news, so now, we're presenting something brand new on our portal - and it's really important: From now on, we'll be offering campsite bookings via the Avtokampi.si portal!

We announced certain changes some time ago, and they are now being implemented. In November, we launched the MobilnaHišica portal (the Slovenian version of MyMobileHome), which users have been visiting regularly to book mobile homes for this season.

Now we have launched a system for booking accommodation units in most of the campsites on our website, in conjunction with AdriaCamps. So now you can book pitches, mobile homes, glamping tents and even apartments directly through our website.

Avtokampi.si has entered its 16th year of operation this year and receives more than 100,000 visitors a month. Nearly 600 campsites in 6 nearby countries are featured on the site, most of which we have personally visited, photographed and described. We also update all the information and photos regularly. We have got to know the owners or managers of the campsites and have been working with them successfully for many years. We have always been aware that enabling bookings is a logical progression of the portal, and now is finally the time to present it to you.

An additional advantage of this upgrade is the access to up-to-date prices: Many campsites nowadays no longer publish fixed price lists, as their prices change dynamically from day to day according to demand. The prices on our portal will always be automatically updated in real time in line with the campsites' current price lists, so you can check them at any time and book the pitch or mobile home you want at the best price.

What changes can you see on our portal?

All these new features are reflected in the upgraded presentation of the individual accommodation units. They are now more clearly divided by type, and for each of them you can check not only the price, but also the photos, the size, the equipment, the location within the campsite, even the floor plan. You also clearly see all the other information you need to be able to choose the ideal unit for your perfect holiday.

We have plans to further develop our search engine to allow searches based on selected criteria:
- search by price
- search and direct booking with the discount offered by the Avtokampi Camping Card

The offer of campsites and their accommodation units is also regularly updated and expanded on an almost daily basis.

The process of choosing your accommodation unit is simple:

1) On the campsite page, in the tabs under the pictures, select the type of accommodation (pitch, mobile home, etc.).

2) Enter the arrival/departure dates and the number of persons and click on 'Check availability'.

3) Click on 'Start Booking' under the price displayed next to the unit you have chosen to start the booking process.

This is followed by the booking process and the choice of payment method:

1) Select your preferred price list and booking conditions and enter your personal details.

2) Enter the number and details of guests, check any additional charges and enter comments or preferences.

3) Choose your preferred payment method and confirm your booking.

You will then receive an instant confirmation of your booking with full details, instructions and contact information.

Our reservation system is directly connected to the system of the campsite you have chosen, so it can show you the availability of units and their prices in real time. When you make a booking through our portal, it is immediately and automatically forwarded to the campsite and entered into their records so that the staff can make all the necessary arrangements for your arrival.
